Seventy-one

I’ve always thought this was much better than “Yesterday,” but it never got the credit it deserved because it’s fast and it’s lyrics (when John bothers to remember them) aren’t as hit-you-over-the-head obvious.

You know the story about this one, right? George Martin was sure he had to get this in one take because John’s voice sounded like “tearing flesh.”

This may be the first high-concept video.

The inspiration for Bono’s eyewear?

One last cover. Great vocals and impressive work by the invisible pianist.
